The idea for this portal came out of  our increasingly frustrating experience of scouring all possible job vacancies sources to find a job which wouldn’t kill our will to live.

Unfortunately, the ‘regular’ job market does not easily accommodate those with ‘irregular’ work needs or aspirations. Which is disheartening, to say the least.

Nevertheless, apart from when you actually create yourself a job to your exact specifications, there are lots of interesting unusual jobs out there. The difficulty lies in finding them, as they are generally advertised in obscure local papers, or even within closed circles.

This is our aim:

To channel all unusual or less mainstream job vacancies from different sources onto our portal;

To directly contact possible sources of unusual jobs to let them know that they can post their vacancies in our portal;

To spread the awareness of this portal as widely as possible amongst employers and jobseekers of any kind…

…and in case you wonder what we get out of it, it’s simple: satisfaction at knowing that we may in fact contribute to increasing the range of available opportunities, and ultimately, at giving us ‘irregulars’ the break we need…

A small note on language:

We communicate in English… as a result, the great majority of vacancies will be in English and generally for English-speaking people… Unfortunately we do not have the possibility to make this available in other languages at the moment.. . please accept our apologies.
