If you write with a keen eye and insightful wit, if you have expert knowledge of hot restaurants, nightclubs and fun actvities then here's your opportunity to share that talent and knowledge with the world. Fun Seeker's is looking for writers for our upcoming Washington DC, guidebook.


The Fun Seeker's Washington DC (two writers)

  • EITHER five sample paragraphs, each describing an attraction or hotel (no more than 100 words each), including at least one established institution, as well as a less well known activity and your opinion of the most fun annual festival or event in Washington D.C. and a brief explanation of why.
       OR five sample paragraphs, each describing a trendy bar or restaurant (no more than 100 words each), including information about the scene, ambiance, crowd, and best time to be there.
  • Five sample paragraphs each describing a restaurant, bar, attraction, or hotel from the itinerary (no more than 100 words each).
  • A brief explanation of why you think you are the most suitable author for this book.
  • Three appropriate writing samples
  • Resume
  • Qualifications You MUST be a full- or part-time resident of the respective metropolitan area to be considered.
